Welcome to the Clinical Cognitive Psychophysiology Lab directed by Dr. Holly Hamilton. Our lab studies the neural mechanisms that contribute to the onset and clinical course of serious psychopathology, particularly psychosis-spectrum disorders, with the goal of advancing intervention and early detection strategies. We use clinical and cognitive neuroscience methods, including electroencephalography (EEG), neuromodulation, translational behavioral paradigms, and cognitive and pharmacological interventions.
We are based at the University of Minnesota and conduct research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System.
